2.3. Dagger

2.3.1. 3-School Dagger

Take from How to Be Like Serm

Being a dagger user is fun! You are powerful,
will have decent magic skills once your more
mature (level 30+) and be able to hunt a nice
variety of creatures. For the most part, I play
my dagger character as a tank, go in, kill a lot
of creatures and have a lot trying to kill you. Your
high melee defense allows for this. Once you hit
level 40, and have a nice life skill, you can play
part mage - part dagger, finding a creature, imperil
and vuln it, then switch to your buffed bandit and kill
it off. With my buffed life skill of 218, I can sometimes
land an imperil on a Feral Carnezi, and kill it pretty
quick, although this seems to be just luck on my
part. With an imperil 4 on a tusker, I can kill them
in 2 double strikes if they don't evade.

Starting Attributes
Strength: 10
Endurance: 10

Quickenss: 100
Focus: 70
Self: 40
Health: 5
Stamina: 10
Mana: 40

Specialized Skills

Suggested Progression
Level 9: Creature Magic
Level 40: Life Magic

2.3.2. Tank Dagger

Taken from Drgn's Keep

Just what it means, Marty, Tank Daggers are Tanks.
Designed for the sole purpose of going up to mobs
and laughing in their face, Tank Daggers rely on
Melee Defense, Magic Defense, and Missile Defense
to evade, repulse and evade.

Downside? You all Melee, and very, very little Mage.
Your strength is bad to begin with, which means
good armor and equipment will push you to the limit
initially. Upside? You are a Spec Defense machine.
Where Magi Daggers are specialized PK killers, you
are often a Tank both in PK and non-PK. So if you want
a non-magic, bad mumbo jumbo, think about this one.

Starting Attributes
Strength: 10
Endurance: 10
Coordination: 100
Quickness: 100
Focus: 100
Self: 10
Health: 5
Stamina: 10

Suggested Progression
Level 9: Item Magic
Level 20: Missile Defense
Level 40: Mana Conversion
2.3.3. Extreme Dagger

Taken from Drgn's Keep

The Swiss Army Knife of Melee Daggers, the Extreme
Dagger is the base template for an Extreme Melee style
of play. Instead of a magic heavy template, the Extreme Dagger templates rely more on skills and attributes to play.

The downside is that Extreme Dagger toons won't
be close to the best for magic, and early on,
self-reliance is based more upon your natural
abilities then magic enchanced. As you grow older
however, you'll pick up better equipment, and more
skills to compliment what you didn't. Still your focus
will rely heavily on playing Melee style, toe-to-toe.

Starting Attributes
Strength: 50
Endurance: 10
Coordination: 100
Quickness: 100
Focus: 60
Self: 10
Health: 5
Stamina: 10
Mana: 10

Specialized Skills
Dagger
Melee Defense
Arcane Lore

Trained Skills
Healing
Item Magic
Mana Conversion
2.3.4. 3-School Dagger #2

Taken from Drgn's Keep

Similar to a Life Dagger, the 3-School is a Mage/Melee
hybrid. However unlike the Life Dagger, you start out
with creature as a small suppliment.

Unfortunately, because you start out with Creature,
you have to De-spec Melee, and drop Arcane entirely.
As such, even though your growth will be a little easier
self-sufficent wise, as you reach the higher levels of
play you will find yourself not able to take on either
extreme side as well. The upside, you are self-sufficent,
and you will still do well overall.

Starting Attributes
Strength: 10
Endurance: 10
Coordination: 100
Quickness: 100
Focus: 90
Self: 20
Health: 5
Stamina: 10
Mana: 20

Specialized Skills
Dagger
Life Magic

Trained Skills
Melee Defense
Item Magic
Creature Magic

Suggested Progression
Level 7: Healing
Level 12: Arcane Lore
Level 26: Mana Conversion
2.3.5. Rogue Dagger

Taken from Drgn's Keep

The last of the melee extreme Daggers, the Rogue
Dagger template is for those who disdain from magic,
shun focus and self, and want to be able to tank all day long.

Rogue Dagger templates, really, start out good,
and just keep getting better as they grow. With spec
Item, they don't suffer as much from the lost of focus
or self. And with more strength and endurance they
don't suffer in the beginning like some other templates.
On the other hand, they really will never be very good
with Magic, and their Focus will be 30 points beneath
most other Arcane spec templates. So expect to it to
be a little harder work to be able to use the equipment
you need as a Rogue Dagger.

Starting Attributes
Strength: 50
Endurance: 60
Coordination: 100
Quickness: 100
Focus: 10
Self: 10
Health: 30
Stamina: 60
Mana: 10

Specialized Skills
Dagger
Melee Defense
Item Magic
Arcane Lore

Trained Skills
None
(4 Skill Credits Remaining)

Suggested Progression
Level 3: Healing
Level 9: Mana Conversion
2.3.6. Ninja Dagger
