2.1. Sword

2.1.1. Duci's Guide

Taken from Duci's Guide to Swordsman and Axe Warriors

Sword is perhaps one of the most fun melee skills,
but also the most expensive. This has an adverse
effect on your template. The plus side is, later on you
get some really cool toys to play with like bandit weapons.

Keep in mind your magic skills will be slow to
develop and you wont be casting 5's until around
around 45+ if not higher.

2.1.2. Ayasha

With the skill credit quest this is all acomplished at
level 55. Staying in line with the template ensures a
very strong melee character that will cast 6's earlier
than almost any other melee and will be able to
cast 7's without
fizzling once high enough. After Mana Conversion
the template is open to whatever the person would
like to take. Creature enchantment is an option
due to the high magic casting ability. Lockpick, Bow
and many other options come open to the player at
this point as well due to the 100 cord start.

2.1.6. New Spec Rule Extreme Sword

Its much like the extreme sword template, and the
beginning levels are very rough, though less so now that
5 levels are given in the starting dungeons. Once you
dig out from under the 5 health handicap, its smooth
sailing, and you will excell at all melee combat tasks.

Later Levels are all your choice. You could get mana
C by level 40 with the skill point quest, or life by 70
if you wanted. The Item tinkering is optional as well,
and could save you ten levels on the earlier mentions
(can get it free as Gharu), but you still can't specialize
item magic until level 25 anyhow, and salvaging on the
run keeps you in the field longer.

with no problem. This template looks a little gimpy at
the begining, but at the end is very powerful.
Template completes mid-level at 40.

Great magic skills even for trained and sword is decent
(except vs high lvl melee d spec characters). I call
it the "Mags" template cause I don't even know many
people with a template like this.
